Over the Martin Luter King Day long weekend, the boys and I got in our share of gaming.
The boys characters' continue to crawl through the Tomb of Abysthor while I ran it for the Red Dragon Gaming Society Sunday night.
Warhammer 40K Conquest continues to rage across the galaxy as Maximan and I continue to clash. The orcs finally beat the Space Marines after two previous defeats. It's the war, not the battles that count...
I also taught Maximan the joys of the Call of Cthulhu card game, also by Fantasy Flight. It has been awhile since I had broken this one out, but with some Christmas Amazon money, I bought the Secrets of Arkham expansion and the Seekers of Knowledge Miskatonic faction box.
I have decided to finally give this game a decent try. I really think it is an underrated and unique card game experience.
Jasper and I also got in a game of Cardfight!! Vanguard. Lots of dice and cards hitting the table: Music to my ears.
