School Starts! SurfMonkey Shines!!

Another summer has gone, and the games have slowed a bit; however, they never really stop. Maximan and I got the new Warhammer Age of Sigmar Champions to the table a couple of times. Truth be told, I have been playing the Beta of the game and like it better than the cardboard. It's an interesting and tactical game.

We played a bit more Magic. That old chestnut.

SurfMonkey and I met twice since school started. Once for our monthly meet up and once for the playdate we set up for our kids. The two Dormant Expandable Card Games we rolled were DragoBorne and Call of Cthulhu LCG (one of my top 5 favorite games). I won the DragoBorne game; he won the Call of Cthulhu game with a stunning surprise come from behind victory.

I also introduced SurfMonkey to the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Champions game. We may not be getting that one back to the table.

We also finally got our Vanguard decks to the table and played three cardfights.

The Little Wizards Basement Gamers got together for a rousing game of D&D the other Saturday as well. A great time was had by all. Looking forward to the next time we can get together for an adventure!!

We eagerly await Keyforge to change our gaming lives forever. November can't get here fast enough!!

Looking forward to some autumn gaming as the weather slowly turns. I have a feeling a certain LCG will be hitting my table again soon. Until next time, sling some cards and wait patiently for Keyforge!
