The Most Wonderful Time of the Gaming Year!

Christmas has come and gone. Family game time was a huge hit on New Year's Eve night. Before that, though, Max and I managed to get in a game of Star Wars Rebellion using the new Rise of the Empire Expansion he got for Christmas.

I received much RPG goodness from both my brothers this year and a handy dandy fancy dice treasure chest. I managed only a single solo D&D game session over the busy break, but that's okay as I was spending much of my time with family.

Christmas season, I will mightily miss you, but I know you're roughly a year away!! Yayyy!!

All right folks, until next time, stay warm and game as much as you can! Great things are on the horizon for me on the gaming front. Stay tuned.

Summer Game Fun And Return to Origins!!

All four of us took a family trip to Origins Game Fair in Columbus! We stayed with family both nights and had a great time all around. We gamed when we could and met Tom Vasel!

We played Hero Realms at The North Market and Codenames with Aunt Feecha and Uncle Joe!

Kia even got over 20,000 steps on Saturday of the con.

Looking forward to another trip to Origins in the future.

Before leaving for Origins, we got in a lot of gaming. Applesaurus resurrected Warhammer Invasion, and we have been having a blast with it. I finally have been able to explore the neutral factions. My Skaven deck swarmed the board!

Lots of Buddyfight, some Imperial Assault, some Hero Realms, some Cardfight! Vanguard, some solo The Black Hack on my part.

I also bought some boosters and the two new trial decks for Final Fantasy TCG at the Guardtower.

Finally, Applesaurus and I finally got our Dragoborne TCG Demo decks to the table. I am cautiously optimistic about it. I enjoyed our playthrough--enough to pre-order the three trial decks. I hope Bushiroad keeps it supported. Fingers crossed because I am very excited for this game.

That's all for now. I have been in touch with SurfMonkey. Looks like we have scheduled a game night after a hiatus. Also, I am to play Magic with the Little Wizards soon. I'll be back soon, folks. Thanks for reading and until next time, sling those cards and chuck those dice!

End of Summer Game Time!

Brigid and Weezoh were in town, so the Starshield Boardgaming Knights met up at Zoltar's house for a night of boardgaming. First up was Dead of Winter, followed by two games of Codenames. We won the Dead of Winter game! I was 1-1 in Codenames.

Games continue to happen at our home game table. I pulled out an old chestnut for Maximan to experience. Dreamblade!!! Still a solid fun game.

Maximan and Jaspersaurus got in some more Imperial Assault. They played an outdoor encounter on one of my D&D playmats. The Imperials and bounty hunters won the day.

Thanks for reading. And I'll see you at the gaming table.
